Glamping to Commence on ING's International Headquarters, Workers to go GlampING

By David Pope

Yes, you read that right. Glamping Hub is partnering with ING to give the finance giant's 3,200 global professionals a way to relax from the rigors of their day, by constructing glamping tents on the roof of the multinational headquarters and office buildings throughout the world.

The plan, labeled "GlampING," will begin on April 10 and will encourage the hard-working employees to take well-deserved breaks and upstairs getaways, in a variety of safari tents, tipis, and yurts.

With the diverse locations of ING's international buildings, the tents are to be designed in a variety of durable materials to withstand everything from harsh monsoons to the steady unquiet of Dutch spring nights. We're not kidding—they're tough.

And, in the style of glamping at its finest, they'll also be completely eco-friendly, using canvas recycled from natural materials, backpacks donated by former children, and sails taken from the confiscated yachts of Russian oligarchs.

On the other hand, the towering wax palm trees will not be locally-sourced and are to be shipped from central Colombia with an arrival date of April 28, as construction will commence the week before.

The blueprints, exclusively leaked to the Glamping Hub Blog, detail the preliminary plans, including the free-form layout of the tents. However, this is, of course, subject to change.

"We've always planned on doing something like this," explains Glamping Hub co-founder, Ruben Martinez. "I mean, why else would we name it GlampING Hub?"

And for those ING employees with furry friends? They needn't miss out either! GlampING. with Pets is coming soon, offering four-legged ING mascots the chance to relax alongside their tented masters.
